Student Activities are an integral part of campus life. There is an array of programs, activities, and events scheduled throughout the year to interest both traditional and non-traditional students. These activities incorporate and facilitate learning outside the classroom, time management, teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. Trips to professional sporting events, snow skiing, golf outings, dinner theaters and student conferences are available for student enrichment. Special trips are planned for the fall and spring breaks. Make sure you take advantage of all the campus has to offer!

Bennet Recreation Center
The C. Eugene Bennett Recreation Center (Gym) is available to all Miami Middletown students, faculty, staff, and their guests. Your Miami Middletown ID card is required to use the facility or check out equipment. Lockers and locks are available in the facility for storing your personal items and equipment. The Recreation Center includes a weight room, which contains Universal and Nautilus equipment, free weights, exercise cycles, Stair Masters, and treadmill.

The Applied Research Center (ARC) is a university-based community resource center. Staff members participate in the ongoing study of issues which are of vital significance to:

- Human Service Agencies
- Citizen Groups
- Business/Industry

The 749-seat auditorium is home to the campus Artist & Lecture Series and is used by many community groups such as the Middletown Symphony. During academic year 2011-12, the DFA is being remodeled. During this period, events have been scheduled in the Miriam G. Knoll Community Center or Middletown High School Auditorium.
The lodge is used for campus and community meetings, seminars, workshops and informal student gatherings, and houses the campus childcare program.
