About the Voice of America Learning Center
Miami University's Voice of America Learning Center (VOALC) offers a wide range of undergraduate courses that complement undergraduate courses scheduled to Miami’s Hamilton and Middletown regional campuses, and graduate-level courses and degree programs through Miami’s School of Education, Health and Society and the nationally recognized Farmer School of Business.
Location & directions
The VOALC is at 7847 VOA Park Drive, at the corner of Cox Road and VOA Park Drive, in West Chester, Ohio 45069. You can find directions to the campus via our Maps & Directions website.
Academics
Undergraduate:
Many students at the VOALC are pursuing their baccalaureate degree through Miami's Bachelor’s of Integrative Studies, a baccalaureate degree completion program unique to Miami’s regional campuses. A wide variety of other courses—from Accounting to Theatre are also offered at the West Chester location.
On-site academic advising and COMPASS testing are also available to current and prospective undergraduate students at VOALC.
Graduate: Area educators have the advantage of the courses and programs offered through Miami’s School of Education, Health and Society, combined with Miami’s TEAM Scholarship program that provides a 50 percent reduction in tuition and fees for eligible participants.
The Farmer School of Business began its Professional MBA program at the VOALC in the fall of 2009. Created in consultation with area businesses and prospective students, the program is designed to meet the needs and schedules of busy working professionals.
Student resources
Books for courses at the VOA Learning Center are ordered on line from Miami’s Middletown Bookstore and may be delivered to students’ homes, or held at Bookstore locations in Middletown, Hamilton, or Oxford for pickup. They may also be purchased on site at the Middletown Bookstore. Books for MBA courses are provided directly to students as part of the MBA program.
VOALC facility
The Voice of America Learning Center is a 23,000 square foot instructional facility with parking for 235 vehicles. Instructional spaces include state-of-the-art classrooms, a seminar room and a 152-seat auditorium and lecture hall. The facility is available for rental for activities such as professional association meetings and educational programs, public ceremonies, forums, and educational presentations. Security at VOALC
At VOALC, a Securitas guard is on duty before and after evening classes, Monday through Thursday, patrolling hallways and checking parking lots. The guard is available to provide escort to vehicles on request.

Miami’s Regional locations are accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and are members of the North Central Association 312.263.0456.
