You are a first-time student if you have never taken college courses at another accredited university and you plan to seek a degree or certification at Miami University. Note: Former PSEO students are considered to be first-time degree-seeking students. Although they have previously earned college credits, they did so while being in a non degree-seeking status while in high school.

Miami University's regional campuses have an open admission policy for first-time college students who have earned a diploma from a secondary program chartered by the state board of education, a General Education Diploma (GED) diploma, or are alternatively educated.

Admission deadline

All application materials must be submitted by AUGUST 1 to enroll for Fall 2012.

How to apply

Apply online. Online applicants pay the $35 non-refundable application fee online.

OR

Download, print, complete, and sign the Miami Regionals Application for Admission (PDF). Submit your application and non-refundable $35 application fee (check or money order payable to Miami University) along with the documents needed to complete your application.
