Transfer Students
You are a transfer student if you have attended another accredited college or university after high school and have earned credit.
Admission is based on your grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), including courses which have been repeated. Transfer students are required to have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA at their previous institution(s) or have been out of college for at least two years.
If you do not meet either of these situations, you should contact the office of admission for additional information regarding possible admission. Hamilton (513.785.3111) or Middletown (513.727.3216). See Types of Transfer Admission for more information.

Credit Evaluation
Generally, credit for any college-level course taken at a regionally accredited institution for which you received a passing grade can transfer to Miami. Some training courses provided by the armed forces and businesses may be the equivalent of college courses. Learn about Miami University's Transfer Credit Policy.
