About the Bachelor of Integrative Studies
The Bachelor of Integrative Studies (BIS) is a brand new bachelor's degree program offered through Miami University's regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown. All classes take place on the Hamilton and Middletown campuses, and at the Voice of America Learning Center in West Chester opening in early 2009.

The BIS is a 21st century degree specifically designed to meet the life challenges we all face today. The key term in "Bachelor of Integrative Studies" is integrative.
- a process by which you connect knowledge and skills from multiple sources and experiences;
- apply knowledge and skills in varied settings;
- analyze diverse points of view; and
- understand issues in context(s).
The result is an exciting bachelor's completion degree that allows you to pursue coursework from multiple fields of study, academic departments, and disciplines and to make connections among them.
