Concentration: Information Technology Strategy for Organizations


This concentration addresses fundamental IT knowledge areas to complement either a technical or content area background. The focus is on complex and connected IT issues in today’s workplace, integrating multiple approaches to using technology, working collaboratively to develop appropriate solutions, and understanding IT in regional and global contexts.  
 
This concentration could be useful preparation for management positions in a technical area of interest (networking, software development), for professional positions such as system/IT project manager or customer technical support manager. or for management positions in non-IT organizations that require a deeper understanding and application of IT.
