About Co-Op Internship & Placement on Miami University Regionals
The Co-op/Internship & Placement Office helps students, graduates and alumni find work related to their academic major. Co-op or intern students can arrange to work while taking classes or alternate semesters between work and classes.
Our staff will help you with résumé preparation, job correspondence, interviewing and the job search process. The office also has a career library, and office staff post full-/part-time jobs, co-op and internship opportunities on campus job boards, as well as on the website.
Students can join the job listserv or register for co-op/internship. Call either campus office 513.785.3113 (Hamilton) or 513.727.3271 (Middletown) for more information.
It is best to call or email to schedule an appointment although no appointment is necessary to visit the office.
Cooperative education (Co-op) and internships integrate classroom study with employment experience that relates to your major. Practical work experience lets you apply knowledge and skills acquired in classes while under the supervision of academic and industry mentors.
Experiential learning also helps students, in any major, gain experience related to their major through volunteer opportunities, community service, and part-time jobs. This is a big advantage in today's job market!
Co-op/Internships, full-, part-time, and graduate employment options are available for students in the following areas:
