Donges Receives Lynn Darbyshire Warrior Award

Miami Middletown student athlete Elaine Donges has been named the recipient of the 2012 Lynn Darbyshire Warrior Award at Miami University Middletown.
Donges, a junior marketing major from Hamilton, is a member of the MUM volleyball team. She is the daughter of Mike and Teresa Donges of Hamilton.
As a ThunderHawk, Donges was the recipient of the Ohio Regional Campus Conference (ORCC) Second Team All-Conference award in 2009, the First Team All-Conference award in 2010, conference MVP in 2011 and was a two-time recipient of the Academic All-Conference award.
The Lynn Darbyshire Warrior Award was established in 1971 in honor of Lynn Darbyshire who served the Middletown Campus as Basketball Coach, Athletic Director and Student Affairs Director for 28 years. The award is given to the student athlete who best exemplifies the attitude and character expected in the Miami University Middletown athletic program.
