June 1, 2012
Music with Rod Nimtz, originally scheduled for June 8 at Miami University Middletown’s Verity Lodge, has been rescheduled to Thursday, June 28 at 6 p.m.
Pianist Nimtz spent 24 years on the Middletown Campus in many roles, including coordinator of the Artist & Lecture Series, founder of the Four Piano Scholarship concert series and creator of the Fantastic Free Fridays program.
Thought Sherpas, a wide-ranging philosophical discussion of life’s biggest questions as chosen by the audience and led by Miami faculty Dr. Brian Domino and David Ballard, returns to Verity Traditions on Thursday, June 21 at 6 p.m.
Making Salsa: Hot Stuff! will be on the menu at noon on Thursday, July 12 when Terri Chatfield from Ohio State University’s Butler County Extension Office will discuss developing a signature salsa recipe, growing fresh herbs, making fruit salsas and preserving salsa.
Verity Traditions connects community and campus at Verity Lodge. Light refreshments will be served. This program is free and open to the public.
