Richmond, Robinson Receive MUM Scholar-Athlete Award

Miami Middletown student athletes Paul Richmond and Kelsey Robinson have been named recipients of the 2012 C. Eugene Bennett Award at Miami University Middletown.
Richmond, a sophomore marketing major from Middletown, is a member of the MUM golf team. He has also earned the honor of Scholar Athlete in his sport and currently has a cumulative GPA of 3.67. He is the son of Michele and Bret Richmond of Middletown.
Robinson, a sophomore history major from Hamilton, is a member of the MUM volleyball team. She has also earned the honor of Scholar Athlete in her sport. Robinson currently has a cumulative GPA of 3.88. She is the daughter of Claudine and Alan Robinson of Trenton.
The C. Eugene Bennett Award was established in 1985 in honor of Dr. Bennett, Miami University Middletown's first executive director (1965-1986), in recognition of his emphasis on scholarship and his strong support of the Middletown campus athletic program. This award is presented annually to the male and female student athletes with the highest grade point average for the academic year.
