Math is like learning a foreign language...
Math can be one of the most difficult subjects for many students and the Office of Learning Assistance is here to help. Bring us questions, problems, or equations and we help students figure out the solutions. We provide free walk-in tutoring for Basic Math through Calculus.
Because remember . . . math takes practice.
(3 credit hours)
MTH 002 is a one semester review course designed to prepare students to take MTH 101, Introduction to Elementary Algebra. Topics include: whole numbers, integers, rational numbers (fractions), decimals, percentages, exponents, graphs, and linear equations. Homework and testing are completed on a computer. This is a pass/fail class with a 75% average required to pass.
