The Voice of America Learning Center, located adjacent to I-75 with ready access from the Tylersville Road or Liberty Way exits, is a 23,000 square foot facility that opened in January 2009.
The entrance to the Learning Center is located on VOA Park Drive, opposite the entrance to MetroParks of Butler County’s entrance to VOA Park.
A 152-seat auditorium is the centerpiece of the Learning Center with seating at tables for 66 persons in the lower tier, and theatre-style seats equipped with tablet arms in the upper area.
There is a tiered 40-seat classroom, and two additional 40-seat classrooms, in addition to two 24-seat classrooms, a 16-seat seminar/conference room, and a 12-station computer classroom.
Each classroom and the auditorium are equipped with an instructor/speaker station which has a built-in computer, document camera, and ceiling mounted projector.
Additional facilities include an 8-station open access computer lab, a small group meeting room, and a vending/lounge area.
There is full wireless connectivity throughout the Learning Center.
As an instructional facility, the Voice of America Learning Center is available for corporate training, professional association meetings, public forums, and educational activities. Facility scheduling priority is given to Miami credit and non-credit courses and workshops.
